This is a mono steel katana with a high carbon steel blade tempered to an edge hardness of 60-63 HRC and a body hardness of 30-33 HRC. On the edge of the blade you can see a wavy steel hamon with a lighter tone, has a legend written on the spine of the sword which reads: “I belong to the warrior of light” perfect sword to practice cutting.
The tsuka handle is wrapped in celluloid striped leather and covered with a Japanese tsuka-ito leather cord. The menuki flower, white, is located under the tsuka-ito. The Habaki, the Seppa, the Kashira and the Fuchi as well. These fittings if left to rust, will leave a distinctive antique-looking patina on the katana fittings.
The wooden scabbard and has hardware. the Koiguchi ,. A sageo rope is attached to the scabbard. The sword comes with a sword bag.
